Waterfall – Before and After – Lightroom Mobile

I was looking through some old photographs that I took way back when and decided to see what I could do with some of them before I hit delete. When this photo was taken it was a rainy foggy day in Victoria. Not one of my best! Over time I have tried many different photo editing programs; Luminar, Adobe Photoshop Elements; Photoshop; Lightroom… My favorite is still Lightroom. Recently I have been editing with Lightroom mobile and find that it does a really nice job! Many of the tools you use in Lightroom desktop are available in Lightroom Mobile. It’s a great app for on the run!

Doreen Ketchens, a jazz clarinetist from New Orleans

In March we went to New Orleans and while walking down the street we were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon Doreen Ketchens “the clarinet queen” and band entertaining a crowd in the street with their dixieland music. Her performance was one of the highlights of our visit! Unbeknownst to us, we soon came to learn she is famous!!

When taking photos in the street it is very hard to capture the excitement of what you are experiencing in the moment. I decided I wanted to try to capture the musical experience somehow. Doreen plays the clarinet like I have never heard someone play it before so that became the focus for my photo editing.
